In the morning of December 19, in the morning, a grand foundation stone laying ceremony for Shanghai Haikang Bio-Pharmaceutical R&D headquarters project was held in Shanghai International Medical Zone (SIMZ). Yushan, the president of Haikang Bio-Pharm, together with all the staff and lots of guests attended the ceremony, such as the leaders of SIMZ, the leaders of SRCB, Mr. Zhu Zhaojun, the representative of SNE (Malaysia), Mr. Zhang Zhiming, who used to be a member of standing committee and secretary of Politics and law committee of Taicang city, Prof. Huang Zhimeng, the president of Yuanjian Education Foundation and the leaders and representatives from the designing company and construction company.
The size of Shanghai Haikang Bio-Pharmaceutical R&D headquarters will be more than 40,000m2 and HaikangPharm will invest about 168 million RMB yuan in the whole project. A series of anti-tumor mAbs including DK001 will be industrialized in new GMP standard line and R&D Lab. The project has been widely concerned and supported by Shanghai Science and Technology Commission and Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Information.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Yushan, the president of Haikang Bio-Pharmaceutical published a speech. He gave thanks to all the guests arrived. After that, guest representative also published a speech to show their support and attention to development of Haikang Pharm.
Finally, the foundation stone was laid in a lively atmosphere with golden shovel.
